After looking at your pictures I think that they really connect well with the qoute and Emerson's ideas. The first picture helped me understand the qoute because it shows strength and following your heart. I also think your title relates to the qoute because it discusses being yourself. This qoute discusses following your heart, being yourself and it is correctly portrayed in these pictures.
These pictures really enhanced my understanding of the quote. They helped me relize that each person has his or her own sense of reality, and therefore has his or her own interpretation of the laws that exist. For some, laws might have little significance, like the boy in the first picture. I also think the title says a lot about the quote. Each person is an individual, and there is no changing that. I found the last image to be the most powerful, as it urges people to do what they think is right. And that is a very important statement.
The pictures that you chose fit your quote really well. The picture that says "There is no set path. Just follow your heart!" was espescially suited to the quote you chose. Emerson's quote encourages one to go beyond societal norms and embrace themselves and their own decisions. Each picture you chose reflected this belief very well.
